This article smells of Douche-Baggery right from the word go. Sorry, but this type of journalism needs to go the way of the dodo.
If you have no ideas as to when you might release it, then why show it? This is a bit unbecoming of MS since lately they have been good about showing games and such they intend to release sooner rather than later.
Not for me. I would say that it only proved to me that the technology that fell flat on its face year ago, is still around. This is not a new idea by any stretch of the imagination. If they can do it well then by all means, good luck to them but honestly, I don't play games to get a workout and I don't paint only to have nothing more than a digital copy of a painting I made on some console. It's nice in concept but just not at all practical.
Halo Cart Racing and My Little Halo Princes Pony. You gotta believe that MS will try and reach all the demographics next time around. lol
After a few run through's with my buddies, the game got old fast. On the PC is where this game will shine and until they offer up some form of UCC on the 360 that is easily accessible by all and implementable by all, it will again be a shallow version of the PC game. UCC can extend the life of any game, so I ask Gabe, can you make UCC available for the 360?
For me, the type of gimmick that is camera motion sensing is cool to see in the making but offers little in way of practical gaming. Games have to be tailored to the hardware more so than already and once they are complete, they are typically shallow games for party events.
In the end, I foresee this evaporating about 6 months out after retail. It's just MHO so don't hate me for an opinion.
I gave it to the one demographic that Nintendo caters to most... My kids.

MS got the right to claim they got the best, they sell the most games, the sell the most consoles, and they down to earth got the most exclusives as well."
First off, two wrongs do not make a right. Just because Sony played the role of the douche bag back then doesn't mean it's OK that MS or any developer of MS games does th...
It's one of those pet peeves of mine to see how so many crap journalists forget that there is such a place as Japan and Europe...
Pathetic.
Brain washing is the science of repeating a lie enough times that folks around you will soon come to believe that the lie is the truth. In the end, it's all relative. The console that has the most games YOU personally like to play is the one console that has the BEST games. Don't let some corporate butt-monger tell you what the best content is, make that decision for yourself.
Sure MS showed some new Exclusives but when it comes to new IP's, it will be nice to see Sony dropping a few new and fresh games our way.
And I will say the same thing. Keep it simple, keep it cheap, and make it work no matter the environment. It's still a gimmick but if they meet this criteria then it has a chance.
The problem is that the Wii is well established and at the moment, the largest group involved in the PS3 and Xbox 360 is the hardcore. These new innovations are meant to bring int he casual but they all already have Wiis...
Just as I said yesterday... The only one I care to see win at E3 is ME!!!
I want games and more of them. Show me the games and I am a winner.
Yeah, I can see it being all the rage for next gen as well. The biggest issue with camera games is the 1:1 ratio of action versus reaction. If they can make it work in virtually any lighting condition then it may have a go but I can't foresee it happening. There are too many variables to take care of for this to actually work and in a big way. I see it as the same kind of stuff we saw last year with the Eye Pet. It may or may not work out but telling from past experiences, I doubt it will wor...
Did it look revolutionary? I remember seeing something like it last year called "Eye Pet" and I don't recall many Xbox fans calling it revolutionary...
I'm looking forward to what it has to offer but until I see a price tag, it's all show and no go.
And you will see that gimmicks like this do not last. I hope for MS that it does but just looking at the facts, it seems this might be a gimmick that dies out after 6 months of retail.
To show their true Douche-Baggery... Yeah, MS stole the show... The show that is officially not over yet...
Douche bags.
If they made an HD version of Castlevania, much akin to SOTN, I would pee my pants ont he spot and drop my cash day one.
